Who doesn’t like a pastry that is rolled up? Jelly rolls are fun to look at and fun to eat. Maybe if you’re a toddler, they’re even fun to wear!!
Jelly Roll scarf is fun to make and wear, with length enough to wrap twice or wrap in a variety of ways. The stitches are easy enough for a beginning knitter, with friendly garter stitch, an occasional purl row, and a simple openwork row. The simple bias shaping adds a little extra interest.
The scarf is made with Mountain Meadow Wool Laramie, worsted weight yarn. Laramie is a rustic yarn that maintains its closeness to the earth flavor! Laramie has great loft, bounce, and beautiful stitch definition. Soft to the touch, this is a yarn that you will love to let slide through your fingers and let curl around your neck when the weather turns chilly.
Designer
Kath Buckley works at Mountain Meadow Wool and loves all the yarn, especially Laramie.
