All our Ikat fabric are hand loomed in Uzbekistan, using a technique, abrandi, "bounded cloud". It is a process of resist dyeing, bounding the warp yarns, which are later dyed by hand, before being woven with the weft yards. In ancient times, wearing Ikat fabric was equivalent to wearing a gold medal, its artistry was recognized with prestige.
